COOPAC grows and produces Arabica coffee variety Bourbon Mayaguez of high quality. Its potential for producing green coffee is estimated at 3,000 tons a year.

  • Cherry Harvest and Quality Control

COOPAC management team organizes and supervises small producers to carry coffee cherries to washing stations as soon as possible after picking.The collection site is in charge of sorting coffee cherries of high quality, without any insect bites, or green or yellow color.
A physical control of the quality begins with small producers themselves. For this,
COOPAC firstly organizes training on quality control and cupping for some members and transfers them to washing stations to carry out quality control work. On the other hand, COOPAC designed and made available to staff of washing a manual of technical management procedures of a washing station and quality control and cupping coffee. For these formations and procedures’ manual, COOPAC is strengthening the capacity of quality control over the sites.
